At an incomparable location
Right at the heart of Hamburg, where the Jungfernstieg, Große Bleichen and Poststraße roads meet, an unparalleled blend of Hanseatic elegance, modern lifestyle and international flair is taking shape – a centre for exclusive shopping, successful business and inspiring living.

Jungfernstieg: An origin story
The historical beating heart of the city centre: Constructed in the 13th century as the Reesendamm dam to hold back the water of the Alster river, the Jungfernstieg soon became a popular waterfront promenade, and one of the foremost addresses in Hamburg. Flanked by magnificent stately buildings on the one side and the Alster on the other, visitors here enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of landmark buildings and façades, including the Heine Haus, the famous Alsterhaus and Germany's largest Apple Store.

Große Bleichen: Hamburg's glamorous showcase
The Große Bleichen road stretches from Jungfernstieg to Axel-Springer-Platz, and is home to luxury stores and shopping passages with tempting boutiques, restaurants and cafés. It is one of the Hanseatic city's most important shopping streets. Right next door to it is the Hamburger Hof, with its hallmark red-brick façade, the Galleria Passage, the Kaisergalerie and the Kaufmannshaus.

Poststraße: Vibrant hotspot
Strolling, shopping, snacking: Poststraße is a happening place. It owes its name to the impressive building style with gothic sandstone elements in contemporary Rundbogenstil, because there were several postal companies domiciled here in the 19th century.
